In this article, we’re going to show you how to install and start Android Studio, and we’ll also walk you through the various Quick Start Guides you can download to get you started with the editor.
We’ll also be going over some of the additional things you’ll need to get started with Android Studio on your PC.
First things first: If you’re not familiar with Android, you should definitely read our Android Developer article for more information on installing the Android SDK.
The Android Studio Quick Start guide is a great place to start if you’re unsure how to get the most out of Android Studio.
Once you have Android Studio installed, we’ll be taking you through installing Quick Start guides for Android Studio as well as installing the various Android Studio plugins that make the editor so versatile.
The first step is to get Android Studio ready for its first run on your computer.
Follow these steps to get that running:1.
Start up Android Studio2.
Open the File Manager3.
Click on File4.
Select File Manager (Windows) or File Manager Pro (Mac)5.
Click the Open button6.
Select the Android Studio directory7.
Navigate to the directory where you’ve installed the AndroidStudio SDK, such as C:\Android Studio8.
If you didn’t click the Open and then continue button, it means the Android studio installation hasn’t completed yet.
If it’s the same as you did in step 2, you’re good to go!
If you haven’t already installed the SDK, you can check it out from here.
If not, head over to the download page and download it for free.
Once you have the SDK installed, it’s time to start building!
Step 1: Create a new Project to Start WithThe first thing you’ll want to do is create a new project that you can use for your first Android Studio project.
In this example, we create a simple project called Showbox.
In the example, you’ll use the Showbox example as a template.1.
Open File Manager2.
Name the project Showbox5.
Select Create NewProject6.
Name your project after your favorite podcast shows that you love, such a “BEST SHOWBOARD” or “The Simpsons”7.
Type a name for your project, such “The Showbox Show”8.
Add the following information:10.
Click FinishNow, we can build Showbox by clicking the Build button.
It’ll create a folder named Build.
In Build, we should select the folder where we’ll put our project.
You’ll notice in the list of folders, there’s a subfolder called Build.
Click that to open that folder and build ShowBox.
This will open a new window that contains the app and the app’s settings.
Open the settings menu in Showbox’s settings app.
In here, you will see a list of settings that can be changed.
Select View the Settings.
Click Show the Settings tab.
In there, you need to click the Build option.
When you do this, the Build tab will show up.
You need to create a shortcut to this project so that you don’t have to navigate to your desktop.
Click this shortcut, and it’ll create the folder Showbox in the Build folder.
Next, we need to tell Showbox where we want to store the app files that we created earlier.
To do this we’ll create folders for each app file, and then we need the paths of the files.
Open File Manager again.
Click File > New > Folder.
Name this new folder ShowBoxSettings.
In its properties, click the + icon.
This opens a dialog box, and you can change any settings you want.
We’ll use this dialog box to create an app-based folder for Showbox and store the files in it.
To make sure Showbox is storing the app-specific files, click Show the Show the settings checkbox in Show Box.
Once Showbox has been created, you’ve now created a folder for each file that you want to put in it, and a folder that you will store the file files in.
Now, let’s create the app that we want for ShowBox, so we can start building it.
This is the new Settings menu that shows up when you open the Build menu.
Click Edit, and select the App Name.
Select Show the App, and choose the name that we just created for Show.
That’s all there is to it.
Showbox will now open up and give you an indication that it’s ready to build.
Open Build to create your app.
This is where Showbox tells
