Samsung, the world’s biggest smartphone manufacturer, has sold its second-largest smartphone in the world to China for $7.7 million.

The phone, called the Samsung Galaxy S3, is the second-biggest smartphone in its segment after Apple’s iPhone 4, according to market research firm comScore.

The company said the phone will be sold in China on April 30, and in Australia on April 22.

The sale of the Samsung S3 is subject to final approval from the Chinese regulator.

In August, Samsung said it was buying a Chinese subsidiary of China Mobile Communications for $1.3 billion to boost its smartphone sales.

Samsung and Apple are the world leaders in mobile phones and both have grown their business in the country.
